County Coach Module System Just imagine if this existed! This is for information and discussion only
The County coach course is to be a continuous improvement module system. Unlike the Club Coach this is not a qualification that can just be earned over a weekend of demonstrations and exams but a steady growth of a coach into a useful and methodical tool for Petanque England
There could be an extended course? followed by an initial exam of core subjects but it is also up to the coach to pursue and become familiar with a host of areas all enabling the coach to develop world class competitors. These modules will involve the sport of Petanque as well as general coaching theory and disciplines from various UK agencies as well as understanding FIPJP and CIEP courses
The County coach is to bring belief and results to talented players as well as support to Club coaches and serious players looking to improve their game
The County Coach qualification will be made up of two core exams with key points covered and then an extended module system. The exams will use part of the modules such as Module 2.1 Coaching at Competitions. This module includes tick charts for Analysis and Tick charts will be in the exam section. The idea is the exams will cover the core areas and the extending modules will give the County coach a continuous improvement platform. It will be understood a Coach will pick up Modules at any time before or between or after the two exam times. It is forecast the exams will be held more than two months apart and cover parts of key modules
