Petanque fund raiser East Anglian Air Ambulance Mixed Doubles 2025

We would like to thank all the players and donators at our East Anglian Air Ambulance Pen-Y-Coed Petanque Mixed Doubles Petanque Competition held at Bury St Edmunds British Sugar Sports and Social Club on 26th May 2025

24 Teams battled it out for the trophies and of course, to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. After 5 games the two highest scoring teams played a final to decide the eventual winner, resulting in Stephen Welford and Annie Hartwell successfully defending their title & holding on to the trophy, beating Simon Doble and Ellie Jay in the final. In the 3rd/4th play off, 3rd place went to Ian and Carol Barnes beating Adrian and Myra Emson.

We donated all the trophies and all players received goody bags containing EAAA items as well as treats and Petanque souvenirs of the day. Every single penny raised was given to the charity.

A total of £703.00 was raised with entry fees, donations and the raffle for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Thank you all.
